Rome: as previously promised here is a short post to update to answer some of the most common questions I get via email or facebook by starting with the writing that even if everything seems to stand still (accomplices summer vacation) is not like that, because are (and are) continuous "work in progress" and I just finished reading all the stories in the race and it was a "work" complex, but also extremely nice and I must say I'm pretty happy with the return of "public" who had this first online edition of the Prize Pietrobelli. Came to my mailbox many works, some very interesting and well written, others a little less, although through each row of each participant to "read" a great desire to express themselves, to tell and tell. I am very happy that all those who have sent me a story, an essay or a poem they have understood the many difficulties we encountered in organizing this exhibition-competition showing extreme patience. I was very pleased to receive mail and messages of congratulations and also to consider constructive criticism that is often more useful than the nice words, but I'm losing a little back to the start of comment and discussion of the famous "work in progress" I can probably only say that this "experiment" is not the last, and perhaps in future we will have the opportunity to embrace our projects other artistic fields as well as creative writing, but now remains my-our priorities and that is why that day will arrive privately and an evaluation board on your machine. The SDV is my personal initiative which will affect only part of the Final Judgement and the selection of finalists in the competition. A few lines, some advice and some curiosity to try if possible to "improve" your work and to "improve" with the continued confrontation with those who share my passion. That said some flash response: to be completed in October by the appointment of the contest winners, certainly fiction and fantasy will be merged as categories and will be awarded only one writer, the jury, in addition to the winner, will report some authors considered to be worthy, the finalists should be three, but given the many "works" quality is a possible expansion to five authors finalists, the finalists, if considered required, you might be asked to send one-two new poems-stories in order to better assess and choose the winners, the publication will be made within 18 months in agreement with the publishing house responsible, could be done with all the stories anthology and poems deemed best. At the moment I think I wrote everything, I just have to say goodbye and wish good holidays to those who have the good fortune to be still at sea, hill or mountain and a welcome back to people like me who is back home ...
