AFRICA - LUCA CADEDDU (20)
Africamentre raining in the rest goes up in flames
deadly paradox paradox that hunger
few men beside me
sing until the sun hides
eaten by powder
out only to shine
to sound cowardly
of money on the hand of the white man
a man next to me whispers
time bring forth everything.
rains in Africa
while the streets are still blood red
guns and bombs to prevent any thing to hear
shadows fall like dead leaves beside
me a mother and son
indifferent smile and sing
she knows the baby's voice is different
silly and innocent
else is not the army, there is no bomb
that will sweep away
even when approaching
mother's ear to whisper
time bring forth everything.
